A COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Get Cycling is a community interest company and the largest independent bicycle shop in York. From our base on the bike path network we sell, rent out and repair cycles. Get Cycling supplies all Unibikes services to the University, and we are specialists in events and cycle loan programmes. We work for over a hundred local authorities nationally, but have services specifically for our home city: including birthday parties and guided rides for groups. We are also specialists in disability cycling programmes, and keep around 60 demo cycles in York for our Bikes not Barriers programmes. Our aim is simple: to promote cycling, in all its varieties, for leisure, transport, health, happiness and the environment. We offer specific services for businesses and are a Cyclescheme retailer, for tax-free cycle purchases through an employer.
