York Bike Hire

Our York bike hire service includes a large and varied range of different types of bike. For your cycle hire requirements, we can provide standard road bikes and folding bikes, through to more specialised and unusual cycles such as recumbents, load-carrying box tricycles, and tandems.

We are situated on York’s famous cycle path network, 60 seconds away from the Millennium cycle bridge, linking five traffic-free cycle routes, some of them along the riverside. We have maps of great cycle rides from where we are. For more information on cycling in and around York click here.

We usually have availablein our York bike hire centre: commuter bikes, fast road bikes, folding bikes (Bromptons and others), electric bikes, tandems, tricycles, tandem trikes, trailer bikes, child-trailers, two and three-wheeled recumbents, children’s bikes, chopper bikes, box trikes for moving heavy goods, promo-cycles, all main varieties of special needs cycles and two and four-seater quadricycles. We also have sets of very varied Winther Viking cycles for under-fives’ parties plus a KMX Karts track and Extreme Try-Out track with MTBs for 8 to 14 year olds. Plus a tri-shaw and a love-bike for weddings. Our seven-seater CircleCycles can be hired only with our professional ‘driver’. If you want to hire any of our cycles we advise that you contact us first to make sure we will the bike (or bikes) for you when required. Occasionally many of our hire bikes are booked in large numbers for events elsewhere in the country.
